Sidrah studies Rhetoric and Business Administration at the University of California, Berkeley, with focused coursework in postcolonial theory, corporate ethics, and nonprofit empowerment.
At Berkeley, she is primarily involved in TBG (The Berkeley Group) which is a student run pro-bono social sector consulting group. TBG’s work is ultimately centered around mobilizing nonprofits and social enterprises by means of business. Her past projects have engaged her in east bay issues related to educational equity, public health access, multinational educational curricula development, and child abuse. Throughout all of these projects, Sidrah has been able to wield significant impact for over four nonprofits, and hopes to continue this for her college career.
Originally from Sacramento, California, Sidrah has also always been fond of the intersection of agriculture and economic opportunity for marginalized individuals, and hopes to expand on this overlap in the future.
