Phenesse is an equity-driven population health scientist dedicated to systemically eliminating barriers and expanding pathways so that all communities can achieve optimal health and well-being. She has extensive experience with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to examine the social determinants of health. Her current work centers around the elimination of racial/ethnic health inequities, geographic access to resources, and technology as a mechanism to reduce (and not reproduce) disparities.
Phenesse is currently a PhD Candidate in Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences at Emory University. Prior to her doctoral training, Phenesse coordinated the design and implementation of community-engaged research studies and health promotion programs.
