Parth is an undergraduate student at Stanford majoring in Mathematics and Public Policy and minoring in Education. He is also an instructor in the computer science department at Stanford and teaches CS 41, a course about applying the Python programming language to machine learning.

For the last three years, Parth has used his skills in data science and policy to work at the intersection of those two fields. A teacher at heart, Parth has worked in the accountability division of the California Department of Education to write policy and communication strategies for the student growth model, a state-level policy change that will implement a novel way of measuring year-to-year student growth. Before that, he worked in the Brazos County District Attorney's Office where he designed, implemented, and trained machine learning models on over 16,000 data points to deliver insights about the prosecution of domestic violence crimes that sparked a reassessment of the case review process.
