Jasmin Matos
Jasmin is currently a student at NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service where she is pursuing a Masters of Public Administration, Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy (MPA-PNP) with a specialization in Social Impact, Innovation, and Investment. With experience in the private and nonprofit sectors, Jasmin is passionate about helping to empower communities through multi-sector partnerships. As a Forest Foundation Fellow, she had the opportunity to learn about the most pressing obstacles that nonprofits face and strategic approaches to addressing issues of public concern.
Jasmin received her BA in May 2016 from Northeastern University with a double major in Political Science and Communication Studies and a minor in Business Administration. During her time at Northeastern, she was president of the Iota Gamma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., a service-based organization where she led various programs in the Boston community centered on economic empowerment, mentorship, financial literacy, and environmental ownership.
