Celia is a Senior Consultant with Public Equity Group.

Prior to consulting, Celia worked as a community organizer with grassroots organizations focused on environmental justice and transportation equity. At Transportation Alternatives, Celia served as a managing Senior Organizer where she coordinated city-wide campaigns to redesign New York City’s most dangerous streets into dynamic public spaces. Celia parlayed her on-the-ground organizing experience into programmatic roles, serving as both a project and program manager at New York Immigration Coalition and New York Cares respectively.

Celia pursued her Master’s in Urban Studies at The Graduate Center (CUNY) with a focus on urban policy and urban social movements. Celia’s graduate research culminated in an ethnographic study of worker-led organizing drives within the nonprofit sector. Celia is based in Brooklyn, New York.
