Josh is an undergraduate student at Columbia University studying biochemistry. He is passionate about advancing scientific literacy in the general public and studies the effects of dietary metabolites on anticancer treatments in a biology laboratory.

At Columbia, Josh is the president of the Columbia Science Review, an undergraduate publication that also plans interdisciplinary events that bridge the gap between scientific advancement and daily life. He also works on the Secretariat of Columbia’s high school Model United Nations conference with over 800 attendees each year.

In his free time, he enjoys going on runs in Central Park, finding the best rooftops to watch the sunrise in NYC and satisfying his unhealthy reliance on coffee by exploring local cafes.
