Personal interests include: reading and literary criticism, visiting museums (especially the Met Cloisters), mountain biking, film photography, and bothering her cat Pivot while he's napping


Grace is a recent graduate of Barnard College in New York. Presently, she splits her time between PEG and Behind the Book, a NYC-based educational nonprofit that brings arts and literature programming into Title I schools. She is deeply passionate about advancing equity in all types of education, particularly higher education and academic writing.

During her time at Barnard, she worked to create more equitable academic writing norms on campus when tutoring at the college's Writing Center and serving on the executive board of the English department thesis journal, Meliora. She also has experience with grassroots organizing, primarily advocating for reproductive justice and gun control, and with youth education organizations and non-profits in Canada, the U.S., and the U.K..

Grace holds a BA in English Literature and Language and a minor in Psychology from Barnard College of Columbia University.
