Fi Cheng, a New York native, is a seasoned finance manager/CFO/controller for several small businesses. Prior to turning to the accounting realm, she consulted to corporations and private foundations on corporate strategy, market access issues in the US and China. She also advised private foundations and nonprofits on evaluation and stakeholder engagement. For several years, Ms. Cheng served as CFO to two NY sports nonprofits, helping to expand their reach and programs. Ms. Cheng holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a B.A. in Anthropology from Johns Hopkins University. After years of playing ultimate frisbee, she’s now hung up her cleats for hiking boots. She tries to spend her free time hiking and camping or building art projects.
